Anastazia Kondratiuk’s husband, Martin Bobowski, kept a written record of certain family births, marriages and deaths in a family bible. The following is a partial translation of one page from Martin’s bible that lists members of the Kondratiuk family. It is the only source of information on Anna Sul’s birth, marriage and death dates.

Research Notes
Pelagia and Semeon are interpretations of the Cyrillic spelling for Pauline and Sam’s Ukrainian names
The note “born mn” beside Anna’s birth date indicates that she was born in Manitoba, unlike her siblings who were born in Galicia.
Anna’s birth date is given as August 16, 1906 here and August 14, 1906 on Anna’s birth certificate. Her birth was not registered until 1927.
Prokop Kondratiuk died on October 27, 1920. The + sign next to his name might be a cross.
The unintelligible reference in the entry for Sam’s death may refer to his burial location in St. Mary’s
